When Oliver was born Rob surprised me with a personalized necklace with an “O” on it (for Oliver). I was so touched by his thoughtfulness. It was one of the sweetest gifts he had ever given me and I have worn the necklace every day since leaving the hospital. Some of you have messaged me on instagram about it, so I thought I’d share. It’s a gold charm necklace from Zoë Chicco, and I can’t wait to add some more charms to it, maybe Rob’s initial or a heart. They have so many cute options. I usually layer the “O” necklace with this ByChari “MAMA” necklace.
Personalized jewelry is so special. I remember my mom had a necklace she used to wear all the time with me and my sisters’ birthstones on it. Initial and personalized necklaces have been pretty popular these days, so I rounded up a few other options from around the web that I thought were pretty.
This initial disc necklace from Kate Spade is a pretty and affordable option. They’re so simple and could look great layered too!
This zodiac necklace is such a cool piece. It reminds me of a treasure you might find vintage shopping.
I love this dainty initial necklace, which is a more affordable option on Etsy.
Did anyone else have a nameplate necklace back in highschool? These always remind me of Sex and the City. I’ve seen so many people wearing these lately, layered with a plain gold chain or charm necklace.
OSCAR DE LA RENTA
Feeling fancy? Feeling bold? Go with this chunky initial necklace by Oscar De La Renta. This option is sure to make a statement.
I love an old school locket. This initial locket is so sweet and reminds me of something I’d find in my mom’s jewelry box. Keep a little photo of your hubby or baby locked tight inside.
