Since going to Paris last March, we have been completely obsessed with all things Parisian. Some of our favorite times in Paris were sitting at the cafés for several hours in the afternoon, sipping on espresso, with a sweet treat in one hand and book in the other. We thought, why not create our own little slice of Paris here in Phoenix?
Ever since we’ve completed the bathroom remodels last year (see master bath here, and guest bath here), I can’t get those brushed gold accents off my mind, and have been wondering if I should have done the same toned fixtures in the kitchen as well. We get asked often about the Kohler fixtures we used, … Continue reading “Bathroom Design Trends for 2018”
Hers: Tee | Jeans | Shoes | Bag / His: Shirt | Pants | Shoes Hello Monday, you snuck up on us real fast again. We spent all last Friday thinking it was Monday, so I guess you would show your face sooner or later. 😉 We feel like we’ve been a little MIA lately on … Continue reading “Hello Monday!”
With the guesthouse being freshly finished, (can’t wait to get in there and style the space) we have been thinking about our long term plans with this house. We didn’t have the best experience with our first contractor for the bathroom remodels, so we were a little hesitant to dive into the guesthouse project initially. … Continue reading “Growing with Our Home”
Last week we had the pleasure of hosting some close friends at our home here in Phoenix for a evening of giving back. Each January 1st we find ourselves reflecting on the year that just past. The highs, the lows, what worked for us as a couple and as a business, and what didn’t. Thoughts of what we would change and talking about what we were fortunate for in 2017, as well as our hopes for the new … Continue reading “Year in Review: 2017”
Last week we were planning on having a holiday party, but as the date grew closer and obligations piled on we decided to cancel it very reluctantly. We had dreamt up some big plans for the backyard, pinterest mood boards, the works, but it didn’t come together in time. The guesthouse is still a few … Continue reading “A Sweet Holiday Gift Exchange”
Growing up my mom would switch out every accessory or accent in each room, with a Christmas themed one this time of year. Beige (everything was beige in our house) hand towels were replaced with Santa and snowman ones, plain candles magically went missing and green and red ones were found in their place, couch … Continue reading “Adding Some Holiday Cheer to Your Bedroom”
We have yet to host a large Thanksgiving dinner. With family and friends all in various states, and everyone’s crazy work schedules, we decided to stay in Arizona for Thanksgiving. This year though, my sister was with us which was super special and also Rob’s birthday just so happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year too — so a double celebration was in order!
Our house is a two bedroom, two bathroom home. As mentioned a while back, we had plans to make the second room a guest room, but the more we thought about it and ran into some furniture dimension dilemmas (hello narrow 1930s doorways!), we figured it would be more practical for us to make it … Continue reading “Our Home Office”
