One of our favorite quick Phoenix getaways is the short hour and a half drive up to Sedona.  It’s enough of a temperature drop to be the perfect summer escape, but it’s also the perfect change in scenery throughout the entire year too.  We recently loaded up the car, packed a tote bag of Henry’s favorite things, and headed up north to L’Auberge de Sedona.

So it doesn’t feel like it was too long ago that we were sharing our bedroom reveal. It all sounds so crazy to be starting work on the house again…almost a year to the date, but I think after living with the house a bit we have learned what is a priority for us, what we love about the space and what we want to change.

San Diego Family Vacation ’18

We have a lot of love for San Diego. The ocean, the harbor, the beaches, the shops, the pizza, tacos, the hotels, friends and soooo much more. What’s not to love?! It’s also conveniently a 5 hour drive for us from Phoenix, so it’s a trip we should probably be doing once a month.  We recently had the pleasure of spending a week there with my parents who flew in from New York to enjoy the sights (and food) with us.
