Helloooo weekend! Hope you guys are having a good one so far. We’ve been chipping away at our long to-do list over here. With our home renovation set to begin next month, we have a lot of work to do. Something we will be doing this time around is re-finishing our floors which means…everything must leave the house. Everything! Ahhh! We are crazy and a bit masochistic it seems. Ha! We will survive, and we can’t really complain as we are super excited and can’t wait to get things started over here, but we do need to start packing some things up and moving into our guest house where we’ll be living for most of the renovation. We’ll also be meeting with the Container Store tomorrow as they will be working with us to design our new walk-in closet that will also be part of the renovation.  We will have lots of updates on all these things in the coming weeks and months, so please be on the lookout for those. Other than that, we will be heading out of town on Tuesday to visit family in Florida, so we will be packing for that. Any West Palm Beachers out there with recommendations? Let us know in the comments below! Also, here are some of our favorite links from around the web this week. Enjoy!

1 – Did you catch our family vacation to San Diego?

2 – We are constantly growing our book collection, we love these alternative ways to show off your books without bookshelves.

3 – Love this home tour and article from the once Mad Men actress.

4 – There is something so charming about herringbone patterned wood floors.

5 – Our pals moved to the desert two years ago and they shared all about it here.

6 – So many cute new arrivals for Nordstrom’s spring designer collection.

7 – Mmmm this Trader Joe’s recipe hack looks like a must try.

8 – We sure miss The Strokes of old, but songs as good as these from Strokes’ band members remind us that they still got it.

9 – How stunning are these plant installations from Loose Leaf, we might have to order their book!

10 – We’ve only visited four of these top 10 best cities to visit in Europe. We have some work to do 😉

  1. If you haven’t visited yet, then put Bruges on your list. It’s a very beautiful city AND… They have amazing chocolate over there. Just saying. 😉

Also, looking forward to your renovation. I am very curious how it will turn out!
