Weekend Links: 28

Reformation bathing suit (love this one and this one too!)

We had such a fun week! It’s been so exciting to plan out everything that’s happening with the Casita and surrounding landscaping in our backyard.  We’ve been working closely with our contractor to make a space that is functional and purposeful and they’re almost ready to begin working on it.  We can’t wait to share that process!  This week we saw Ingrid Goes West at our local Alamo Drafthouse and War for the Planet of the Apes with our pals Leah & Matt and Brendan, so it’s definitely safe to say we had a good week.  I can’t remember the last time we saw two movies in one week. Thursday we worked on a really fun project for Darling Magazine with our friends Fawn DeViney and Priscilla Urrutia. It will be coming this fall and we will keep you up to date with all those details. Arizona has some pretty talented folks and it was really special getting to work together with them on such an intimate project. We’re really excited about seeing it all come together.  Next week we’ll be heading out of town to some much cooler weather and this weekend we’ll be getting things ready for that trip.  Here’s to another good one! Below we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite links from around the web, as well as some favorite items we’ve been eyeing lately.  Enjoy!

1 – Did you catch our living room reveal post? See more home posts here.

2 – This tote from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of my favorites.  See all of our favorites here.

3 – This home decor brand is quickly becoming one of our favorites for just about everything.

4 – Our friend’s Sara and Rich are two of the most talented individuals we’ve ever met.  Their newest Airbnb (and home) which we got to see in the very early stages is finally listed.  Check it out!

5 – This is how you decorate a 500-square-foot rental the right way.

6 – We’ve received a lot of questions about our new coffee table and we’re happy to say that we love the combo of wood and marble and we highly recommend it!

7 – Working from home isn’t the easy, pajama wearing, waking up whenever you want, carefree lifestyle you may think it is. We talk about this a lot with friends who are self-employed. You put more pressure on yourself and sometimes let self-care fall by the wayside.   This article nails what it’s like to never shut it off and how being a freelancer could be mentally exhausting without balance.

8 – If you know us personally, you know that we love to write everything down.  Here’s a great planner if you’re like us and do the same.

9 – These beauties are back in stock and that makes us happy.

10 – How pretty is this song?
