So happy we created this outdoor space with @homedepot just in time for the beautiful weather in Arizona. 💫🌵👉🏼swipe to the end for some before pictures. We’re entering the season where we spend the most time outdoors together…slow mornings with coffee cuddled up on the outdoor sofa, dinners making pizza together as the sun goes down, daily rituals of watering the plants and feeling the sun on our skin. These are the moments we dreamt of when designing the house and I can’t believe it’s been a whole 7 months getting to call this place "home”. 🙌

It’s definitely worth celebrating these milestones. It’s something we’ve been working towards for the last several years. Making a house a home is such a journey and it can be easy to forget that it’s one that takes time. A space evolves with us the longer we’re there, we learn more about what we need in a space and each step closer to your vision is worth acknowledging. When we feel at peace at home, everything else falls into place.

A little update to this corner of our dining room…and make it spooky 😜🎃🕷️🕸️👻 Loving this beautiful Kyoto Console from @houseofleon 🙌💫 The solid birch wood is perfect next to their Nona Dining Chairs. Minimal but still impactful and really rounds out this corner so nicely. I had to get in the Halloween spirit and add some spider webs, ghosts and a homemade haunted house O and I made out of a milk carton and cardboard boxes. ♻️🧙‍♀️🪄 ‘tis the season 💀🧡

I know there’s so much holiday content out there but I can’t believe I haven’t shared O’s bathroom yet. I had so much fun with this one and incorporated some pattern mixing w the alternating backsplash tile. It felt like a playful take on the natural zellige we have throughout the rest of our home, but a little less serious. Definitely a space he could grow into. Fun but not kitschy. 😉

A lot of you ask where to begin with designing a space that looks like the rest of your house but isn’t exactly the same. I like to stay in the same color family and mix up shapes and patterns. I love the pop of olive green with the @wearepampa rug and coordinating waffle shower curtain from @hawkinsnewyork too. Typically I’d go for the rust 😆 but really enjoying this tone. 💚🌿🌵

Taking our 4 year old to see where I went to high school and the chapel we were married in hit me way harder than I ever thought it would. Time goes by really fast but we can pack a lot of good into the years we have.

19 years ago to the day, we met on Long Island. We would have gone to the same high school but I ended up going to a high school about 25mins away or so. This longhaired curly guy would drive to surprise me and pick me up my senior year with The Smiths playing from his 1990 white Honda Accord. Now we’re walking around the same campus as trio. What an adventure it’s been since then.🧡

From 2021 to 2023. 🤯So crazy to look back on the progress. Sharing a closer look and all the details at our kitchen and bathrooms with @Kohler. Love how the curve of that Crue Faucet mimics the archway to the hallway behind. Little details like that are my favorite.

One of the questions I get asked the most is how to make things look cohesive yet different in each room of your home. I love matching hardware finishes and mixing in found pieces for some interest.
