Back in the spring of 2011, we were spending a few days in south Florida visiting some family. The two of us spent an afternoon downtown having lunch and then spontaneously decided to catch a movie. We had no idea what was playing, nor did we really care too much. It was one of those days where going to the movies was all we wanted to do. We have those days quite a bit actually, but there is just something about watching a story unfold, eating popcorn and snacks, tuning out the real world, and getting sucked in to a good film. We looked at the list of movies playing, and the title Midnight in Paris caught our eye. We had recalled seeing the trailer a bit before our trip and have loved Woody Allen for years, so it felt like the perfect afternoon date.
We’ve been traveling quite a bit again, and with all the weather changes our skin has definitely been taking a beating. We’re not as bold as to wear a face mask while flying, but we do have a few favorites that we like to use when we get back to our Airbnb at night, and will be indulging with when we get home from our travels. 🙂 Here are some current favorite face masks…
Bonjour! We arrived in Paris two days ago and couldn’t be more excited to be here. Our flight arrived early Thursday morning and we completely embraced the light rain that welcomed us in. It was cloudy and cozy and pretty perfect. On our way to our Airbnb we watched through our cab’s window, as we peeked in on the city’s morning commute…watching children walk to school clutching to their parents’ side and business men and women rush to the subway with a coffee in hand and headphones in. Even in our sleep deprived state, we immediately felt lucky to be here and experience their culture for a few days.
