If I’m not reading about educational baby toys for Oliver, I’m researching skincare products and ingredients. Since I’m not pregnant anymore and I’m not breastfeeding, I’ve been able to incorporate a few more items into my daily skincare routine. I’ve been on the hunt for a good retinol and I think I found my match with Olay’s new Retinol24 line.
What I love about this line is that you don’t have to use it as a full regimen, so if you just want to swap out your current serum or eye cream for something with more targeted ingredients like retinol, this is a good option. I’ve been using the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Face Moisturizer before bed for the last two weeks and am already seeing a difference in my skin texture, along with starting to even out any dark spots I’ve had from pregnancy. My skin has been so dry with the change of seasons here in the desert, but this has been super moisturizing without that greasy feeling.
After I put Oliver to bed each night, the last thing I want to do is a long skincare routine. I really just want to curl up on the couch with Rob, so a cleanser, eye cream and moisturizer is where I’m at each night. If I’m feeling fancy I’ll throw on a face mask while we watch an episode of Modern Love, but I’m all about the simplicity these days.
Do you guys use a retinol? I really liked the way this went on and didn’t dry out my skin, the way some retinols can.

Where did you get your jump suit? I love it!
Hello! I absolutely love your pale skin! I too have paler skin; but, keep having issues with keeping it from the sun. I live in the high desert of California (Apple Valley), so am curious what you use or do to prevent sun damage? Thank you!!
Hi, thank you! Sunblock sunblock sunblock! haha Most makeup I use have SPF in it, and then on the rest of my body I use an SPF 50. These days I use my son’s Tubby Todd or Attitude Children’s SPF 50. 🙂
