Easter and a Spring Celebration

Rob and I have never celebrated Easter together. We’re not very religious people, but we’ve always felt this was a special time with the rebirth of Spring. Now with Oliver in our lives we wanted to make this morning joyful for him with a spring basket filled with books and the day spent outdoors. I’m not sure what traditions will grow over the next few years and what Oliver may remember from his childhood, but just like any parent, we hope its a happy and joyful time spent in the garden and laughing.

Rob and I were so excited to see the Super Pink moon a few days ago. We snuck outside and sat on our front steps right after we put Oliver to bed and just admired how brightly it was shining. It was such a moment of peace after so many ups and downs lately….a gentle reminder of rebirth and renewal. I think we all are going through a huge period of rebirth right now with the societal shifts being made. It’s been a time of turning inward for us, which we’ve been thankful for…very eye opening.
