Happy February! This week/all of January went by soooo fast. It feels like we had one thing after another and never got a good rhythm going. Or maybe that was our rhythm. Either way, here we are. It’s the weekend and we have plans to tidy up some of the house. We’re still chipping away at the future nursery, and also cleaning up in the guest house for some family that will be heading into town in the next two weeks. We are just about 150 days away from our due date and have some big doctors appointments in the next week that we’re excited about. We should be finding out the gender of the baby at our anatomy scan. So many friends and family members have asked if we already did the early testing to find out, but we decided to wait and find out when we find out. We feel like there isn’t a whole lot we would do differently in either scenario, so we’re just happy to have a baby to love and raise in the best way possible. We’ve loved the comments, emails, and DM’s we’ve received since we announced our pregnancy. You guys have been so sweet, cautious, and informative along the way. We’ve read through all of them and are taking plenty of notes. We’ll be sharing some very personal posts in the next couple of weeks about the first trimester, so be on the lookout for those.
