NEUTRAL FALL WARDROBE IDEAS

It’s still warm here in Arizona, but we have fall on the mind and maybe a day trip up North for cooler temperatures. Until then, we’ll day dream about some fall wardrobe outfit ideas. Here are few neutral wardrobe ideas for him and her from some of our go-to ethical and sustainable brands.
NEUTRAL FALL WARDROBE IDEAS

1 – I’ve been really into flat boots lately. Maybe it’s because I’m always on the go with Oliver, but they’re super practical. This lace up pair is a little more elevated and can look cute with dresses too.

2 – Speaking of dresses, a neutral solid colored dress is great to have on rotation. I love everything Ozma does and is such a favorite ethical brand. (You can use code NEWDARLINGS15 for 15% off.)

3 – A mix of neutrals and textures with this suede and leather bucket bag – everything will fit in it!

4 – I’ve been really into embellished belts lately. I wore this one recently in this photo. It’s a nice way to dress up a similar sweater and jeans.

5 – I love hunter green in the fall. It’s the perfect earthy hue and Everlane always has such great fits for all body types: petite to tall and curvy. Check out this wide leg pair of pants.

6 – Summer or fall, shades are needed here in the desert.

7 – A feminine blouse is always finding its way into my closet. I can’t resist the delicate accents.

8 – Another great flat boot option – kind of like a prettier chukka boot. They come in black too.

9 – Give me all the 70s vibes with these clogs and high rise jeans, please.

10 – Another favorite fall color? Rust! Basically I just want to dress like all of the colors in the forest. These are another pair of pants from Everlane I enjoy – the fit can’t be beat.

11 – I thought this fringe jacket was so fun. I’ve really been thinking more about every piece that I add to my closet lately – more neutrals that can mix and match. I like that this jacket has some fun elements while still keeping this neutral.

12 – An ivory sweater with a ruffled neck – I can see myself tucking this into those green wide leg pants, or dressed up with a corduroy skirt and tall boots.

13 – This floral dress from Rachel Pally was like love at first site. All of her pieces are so beautifully made.

14 – If you keep things a little more simple on the bottom, add some accessories. I thought the shape of this chestnut colored hat was so fun with the braided detail.

15 – No matter the season, a classic pair of vintage style jeans are my go-to. The more worn in, the better.

16 – I have a few newer and vintage delicate blouses with a bow accent at the neckline. I find my way back to them season after season and they always feel elevated, even with simple denim.

NEUTRAL FALL WARDROBE IDEAS

1 – A long sleeve khaki shirt goes with just about everything. I’m going to be adding this one to my closet for this fall.

2 – We’ve been fans of Bridge & Burn since the beginning, and I’m obsessed with this wool olive cap. Perfect for a fall day spent outdoors.

3 – A classic military watch from Timex could be worn every day with anything and look good.

4 – I’ve had these jeans for years and they still hold up. Highly recommend!

5 – Garrett Leight is one of our favorites when it comes to sunglasses. I love this pair!

6 – Every fall, I bust out the khaki chinos. It’s the perfect color and looks great with sneakers or boots.

7 – Another Bridge & Burn favorite! This classic button-up in natural is a no brainer for fall and beyond.

8 – These olive boots have such a cool look, and great attention to detail.

9 – I am obsessed with these suede boots. They look stylish as heck and I’d love to wear them with a nice pair of denim.

10 – Taylor Stitch is one of my favorites for mens fashion. I add a piece of two from them every season. This Ojai jacket is a TS staple and I’d recommend one in each color.

11 – Every look needs a quality belt.

12 – This is such a cool tote bag made from panels of denim.

13 – When my hair was shorter, I felt like I couldn’t wear a hat, but since growing my hair out a bit, I’ve added a couple Stetson’s and now I’m addicted.

14 – These days, I have a backpack with me just about everywhere I go. You can never go wrong with a Filson. Their stuff is quality.

15 – I recently added this pair of boots to my collection for the fall, and I just love the fit and look of these from Nisolo.

16 – This is one of my favorite looking denim jackets ever. Definitely a bit pricey, but it’s a piece you can wear forever. If you’re looking for the same style in a lower price point, this jacket is a great one too!

  1. Please keep doing the most ethical and sustainable roundups that you can! I’ve noticed all my favorite bloggers have suddenly switched all their content to madewell and gap in order to reach a different market but I still want to see what you all are actually buying and wearing!
