**I started writing this post while I was still pregnant with Oliver. I’m happy to say that almost 11 months later, I still feel the same way about all of these kids clothing brands and shops. Hope this post gives you some inspiration and new places to shop for neutral baby clothes.
When setting up Oliver’s room, one of the things I became completely obsessed with was all the cute baby clothes. I don’t think laundry has ever been as fun, and the tiny sizes just really made my heart melt…well it still does.
We found some super cute vintage clothes for him when we were in New York during my pregnancy, but there are a few shops we would check periodically for him online. I love dressing him in neutrals, so they’re easy to mix and match outfits. Here’s a few of our favorites:
NOBLE CARRIAGE
Noble Carriage carries various kids brands, but they have their own organic line with utility jumpsuits and pajamas that are pretty adorable. We were so happy to find them on instagram, as they are USA made, and only carry items that are 100% certified organic. They’re always curating the cutest collections, so we check their site often.
GO GENTLY NATION
Found this company through Bohemian Mama, which has been such a great source for baby items for us for everything from clothes to toys and baby gear. Anyway, I instantly fell in love with Go Gently Nation. Everything they produce is made of organic and sustainable materials, all ethically made in LA. They have a ton of neutrals and are perfect for any little boy or girl. Our favorites are the jumpsuits. We just scooped up this Peace Maker tee for him also. Maisonette is another favorite website for toys and clothes that also carries Go Gently Nation, and so many other favorites.
RYLEE + CRU / QUINCEY MAE
Both are made by Kelli Murray, who I’ve been a fan of for quite some time. She has two lines Rylee + Cru and Quincey Mae, which are all organic baby basics in the prettiest earthy tones.
All of Oliver’s socks and most of his hats are from these two companies. (They’re also on Bohemian Mama.) This rainbow tee might be next on my list. Rylee and Cru’s tops run a little big, so I like that Oliver can get a few extra months of wear beyond the tag size.
ETSY
Etsy is always an amazing place to find independent designers, along with some great neutral and organic kids clothes. Oliver’s baby bird onesie from when he was smaller is from The Bee and Fox via Etsy. Her shop is still one of my favorites – so many affordable options for baby and mom too! I just ordered this mini-gardener tee from a new-to-me shop on Etsy too. It’s so easy to search “neutral baby clothes” and new things pop up every day!
RED CARIBOU
Everything from Red Caribou is made from 100% cotton and it’s some of the softest baby clothes we own for our little guy. I also love how thin and breathable everything feels, since we’re in the desert, yet the quality is still top notch. They have adorable outdoorsy and whimsical prints. I love all their little rompers!
JAMIE KAY
Jamie Kay was my go-to when Oliver was first born. They onesies run small and he was so tiny, so he wore them quite often. They stood up to tons of washing and were incredibly soft. If you’re into the little baby bloomers and bonnets, you’ll love Jaime Kay. Everything feels so refined and sweet
Everything from Simple Folk Co is made in neutral and outdoorsy colors. It makes me just want to run around with Oliver in the forest. Haha I love everything they make. (Oliver’s entire outfit above is from them.) The brand was created by two mamas who are dedicated to eco-friendly clothing, that simple yet luxurious and practical. I love how they talk about pattern free clothing and letting children’s imagines run wild with open-ended play and exposing them to the outdoors. Getting dressed doesn’t need to be fussy or busy, it just needs to be versatile, soft and non-toxic.
Hope that helps give you some ideas on where to find neutral baby clothes, along with some sustainable kids clothing options too!
