Hello! We are back from two weeks at sea on the Royal Princess cruise ship. The last few weeks we have been cruising the British Isles with some of our favorite blogger pals and our first stop was in Guernsey! It was the perfect ease into this two week trip, and we explored the most beautiful gardens called Candie Gardens. The British Isles cruise begins in London and makes its way through several stops in Ireland and Scotland, before our last stop in Paris and back to London where we flew home to Phoenix. There were a lot of great stops along the way, many to cities we never thought we’d have the chance to explore, so we’re excited to share the trip with you guys.
So our first stop on the cruise was in Guernsey. We took a short tender ride from the ship and walked through this charming city until we reached Candie Gardens. The weather was a bit moody and it was so fun to bundle up for a change. (How it is still 100-something degrees in Phoenix is beyond us.) One of the biggest things we have been looking forward to with our home renovation is seeing the yard come back to life, so we were in heaven walking through all the lush greenery, colorful flowers and coming upon this cute cactus filled greenhouse that reminded us of home. Here’s a bunch of photos below…
How beautiful are these grounds? It felt so whimsical!
Rob picked up this Barbour jacket while we were in London and I feel like it will be a classic. It’s a great waterproof style with a corduroy collar that looks great layered over anything from sweaters to chambrays.
I was excited to bust out these yellow pants and chunky knit. Both are from Free People and such great staples for the fall season upon us. I packed a ton of basic pieces like this for the trip, so I could mix and match them with different scarves and accessories.
His: Jacket | Shirt | Chinos | Sneakers (similar)
Hers: Sweater | Pants (similar) | Shoes (similar) | Bag (similar) | Trench | Bandana
