Happy October! I’m finally feeling in the fall spirit and got our rental all set up for fall and spooky season recently. I love the holidays but didn’t know how I’d feel as we’re kind of in limbo, waiting for the house to be finished. We’re still aiming to finish by December, so who knows … Continue reading “Neutral Fall Decor + Minimal Halloween Decorations”
I’m a firm believer in any time with family isn’t too small, especially during the holidays. Lately, every moment feels so fleeting and if I can make any day just a little more special, I’m going to try. Whether it’s carving pumpkins, baking cookies, or doing crafts together with just some fun stickers and markers, … Continue reading “Fall Craft Ideas for the Whole Family”
The heat is starting to break here in Arizona, and I feel like I can finally wrap my head around fall style. One piece I have been looking for for my fall wardrobe has been a pair of 70s style denim with front pockets and a wider leg. The silhouette is so flattering and feels very reminiscent of Jane Birkin, who is always a style muse.
Today, I shared a styling video featuring three dresses from Rachel Pally on our instagram page. Rachel creates some of the most beautiful and ethically made pieces. She is a strong female business owner and mama and I’m always so impressed with her designs and how she runs her company overall. I had so much fun … Continue reading “Brands We Love: 3 Fall Outfits with Rachel Pally”
Every year I look forward to wearing boots and styling fall outfits. Layering up, mixing prints and patterns is so fun and if it’s one thing I invest in for my fall wardrobe, it’s always a good pair of boots. I always ask myself how versatile a pair is. Can I wear it with jeans … Continue reading “My Favorite Neutral Boots for Fall”

This was the first year I put together a fall mantel and I don’t know why I never did it before. Adding some small pumpkins and gourds to the mantel, surrounded by our favorite festive candles (tabacco and patchouli is such a good one!) and some dried flowers and leaves made the living room look (and … Continue reading “Decorating a Fall Mantel”
This year I’m putting together a fall bucket list for our family, marking the dates on the calendar and committing to it. I’m not setting the bar too high and we won’t be going on any crazy trips (or probably any trips for that matter), but there are plenty of fun things to do in our own state and in our own home to be excited about. Read on to see what’s on our family fall bucket list.
I’ve been finding my way back to florals again. After a summer of wearing solid linen tops and dresses, it’s been fun to mix things up. I love florals paired with some more masculine pieces, like flat laced up boots and a chore coat (like the Canyon Coat we designed). I rounded up a few … Continue reading “Floral Blouses for Fall”
Are you all just as excited for fall as we are? This is the first summer we stayed in Arizona and it has felt endless. The temperatures are justtttt starting to ease up, so I’ve been having chai team in the mornings and thinking about all the fall decor I am going to bust out. I can’t wait to decorate with Oliver and bring him to the pumpkin patch. Holiday decor can get cheesy real fast, so I wanted to share an elevated appraoched to fall decor. I rounded up floral arrangements, wreaths, and candles, along with pillows, rugs, vases and glassware, so you can have a hint of autumn in each room of your home.
