She follows a formula with her outfits and nails it every time. It’s authentic, it’s her. You could see her from the neck down and just know it’s her. She has staple pieces and a go-to silhouette that just works so well and never goes out of style. Every now and then I’m tempted to reinvent my wardrobe with the change in seasons, but I always go back to a few staples. I find I’m most comfortable in a form fitted top, a high waisted skirt or denim and (the famous) third layer…

In this case the chore coat. It’s my formula for getting ready. Check out my current style video below with 3 Sezane looks I’ve had on rotation lately. Their Will Jacket is forever a staple in my closet. I have it in white, tan, and blue denim. Now, I’m loving their new cord version they released this season. A little festive, a little 70s and very classic. So so pretty!
I threw in a skirt and sweater look that felt fun and festive for the holiday season. If I wear something a bit more form fitting on the bottom, I like to balance it out with an oversized sweater up top. For reference I’m 5ft tall, and I feel like these little hacks help we wear some pieces that could otherwise seem overwhelming on a petite frame. (i.e. large sweaters and knee high boots)
