Happy Friday! We are back to basics over here after a week of family in town. We had an amazing time eating our way through Phoenix and Sedona this past week and we’re thinking we might stick to salad this weekend. Ha! This weekend we’ll be taking it easy. There’s been quite a bit on our plate lately and we’re looking forward to some down time at home with Henry and a good audiobook. At the moment, we don’t have any big 4th of July plans, but we’ll probably decide last minute that we want to run around with some sparklers somewhere, so be on the lookout for us being goofballs on Tuesday. 😉
Here are some links we loved this week from around the web…
– We’re all about linen in the summer. This dress for her and shirt for him are going to be staples around here for a while.
– Our trip up to Sedona this week was just what we needed and we definitely recommend a stay at this resort if you are heading to the red rocks anytime soon.
– A West Elm just opened near our house and we are too excited to contain it. We just hosted a really fun event to welcome the store to the neighborhood and it looks like they are now having a big sale on their site. Check it out!
– A new album from The National is coming in September and these new singles are getting us sooooo pumped!
– We finally have a consistent work out routine and these favorites for him & her have been keeping us comfortable while at the pilates studio.
– These summer date night ideas are the cutest. We especially love the three-course meal at three different restaurants. Such a good idea!
– We’ve been itching to go back to Portofino, and this picturesque guide isn’t helping our daydreaming.
– We’re big pasta lovers over here. Looking forward to trying this lemon and rosemary goat cheese recipe this week.
– Not big into shorts but these are the perfect pair of high waisted shorts with a good length for summer.
– Our friends Tim & Merrill just listed one of the coolest properties in Joshua Tree on airbnb. We can’t wait to check it out!
