We’ve been traveling quite a bit again, and with all the weather changes our skin has definitely been taking a beating. We’re not as bold as to wear a face mask while flying, but we do have a few favorites that we like to use when we get back to our Airbnb at night, and will be indulging with when we get home from our travels. 🙂 Here are some current favorite face masks…
Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
This is great when you need some extra moisture. I usually use this right before bed and love how soft my skin feels after. I packed this one with me and it has been saving my skin from the colder temps here in Paris.
Aztec Secret Indian Heeling Clay Mask
This is a strong deep pore mask, that draws out any impurities you may have. If I have a breakout or just feel like my skin is looking pretty dull, this is my go-to. I don’t use it too often, because I do have sensitive skin, but this has helped with breakouts in the past.
Estée Lauder NightWear Plus 3-Minute Detox Mask
This mask is a little more gentle than the Aztec mask, but definitely gets the job done. I like to use it once a week for maintenance. It has a fresh cucumber scent too.
Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque
Put this on while you’re in a bath full of bubbles and embrace the calm and cooling affect. The name basically says it all. It’s more of a jelly and smells super refreshing.
Mario Badescu Whitening Mask
I received this in a kit, and this was my favorite product from it by far. It’s definitely a bit on the waxier side, which makes it a bit tougher to remove, but if you’re feeling like your skin could use some brightening or you’re looking to fade some hyper pigmentation marks, this is a great product.
Herbivore Blue Tansy Mask
Cooling and smoothing is how I would describe this mask. I tried it for the first time a few days before we left for Paris and I loved how dewy my skin felt the next morning. Always trying to keep my acne at bay with various products, my skin can get a few dry patches, but this really felt rejuvenating. It’s more on the liquid side and easy to remove.

I need to try these face masks. I make a Glam Glow dupe every once in a while with Indian healing clay.

Yes, one of my new favorites! Their stuff is so amazing.
I’m such a mask junkie and the Aztec Healing clay is one of the ones I reach for time and time again when my face is feeling congested. I love Herbivore products, but haven’t tried the Blue Tansy mask yet, so I’ll need to check it out! With sensitive skin you may also love the Caudalie masks… they’re super gentle but effective. The moisturizing one works great when I’m dry from travel and has never broken me out like some of the other moisturizing ones I’ve tried.
