Curly Hair Routine
I haven’t blow dried my hair since December of 2022 and it feels good to fully embrace my natural hair texture and experiment more with my curls these days. Finding the right products for curly hair has been key, especially with curly bangs. Here’s what I’ve been loving for wash days. I typically go about 3-4 days in between washes and diffuse after “plopping” my hair in a Tukish towel. I’ve been curious to try one of these hair wraps to absorb some of the moisture in my hair while I put on my makeup and get ready.

My Go-To Products for Curly Hair
-Prewash: Act and Acre Cold Processed Scalp Renew (use code: newdarlings to save
20%) Heads up! They are now sold at Sephora, but my code won’t work there unfortunately.
-Shampoo: Act and Acre Curl Cleanse Shampoo – this removes any product build up. Then I double cleanse with Davine’s LOVE Curl Shampoo for extra moisture. I then follow up with their curl conditioner
-Before plopping my hair in a towel, I use RandCo Bleu’s Volumizing Mousse and Davines LOVE Curl cream or Act and Acre Soft Curl Cream
–After I diffuse, I add some texturizing spray by Color WOW Hair, which gives some great volume at the root.
