We’re spending a few days with my parents in Florida, so we thought a travel post was appropriate this week with a focus on airport style. When we hopped in our Uber for the airport this morning, it dawned on us that it was our first time heading to the airport since November, which is kind of crazy for us. Last year was a lot of “go-go-go”. Although, the flight from AZ to FL isn’t anything major, we do have travel prep and a longer flight on our minds lately, with our London/Paris anniversary trip coming up next month. More on that later. 😉 Our connecting flight was delayed until tomorrow morning, so we switched up our flight and we are currently waiting to board our flight to Tucson then Dallas then Florida…it’s going to be a longgggg day. Ha!

We were never fans of dressing down when traveling, but the more we find ourselves in the sky, the more we realize how important it is to be comfortable while making our way through the airport, as well as in flight. However, comfortable airport style doesn’t need to mean baggy sweats and your old tennis shoes. I used to love checking out star style forums, with candid shots of actors and musicians arriving at the airport…they always looked so chic, yet never too over the top. Simple layers, sleek sneakers, and light scarves are a few of our more recent travel essentials. It is possible to look pulled together and comfortable while traveling.
