You might have noticed a common theme throughout our instagram photos lately…a lot of blush pinks popping up in everything from throw pillows to clothing and I can’t seem to shake the soft color palette. I used to hate dressing “girly”…not that I would consider myself a tomboy, but I grew up with very traditional gender roles being instilled, so when it came time to really choose what I wore or how I acted, I steered clear of those more traditional feminine tones and chose not to speak about beauty routines, makeup, hair or anything along those lines. I didn’t want it to define me as a woman…I wanted to show I was capable of filling my head with other things and could carry out conversations other than the newest beauty product I had picked up, even if I might have been loving it.
I once read a quote that it’s not until your thirties that you really know who you are and feel comfortable in your own skin. For me being feminine was a part of that and I’ve completely embraced it lately. A pop of blush has become a nice change from my usual neutrals, along with being a happier color to wear on those cloudy winter days. Here’s a round up of a few favorite blush sweaters I’ve been loving lately…

Hey! Ive been following you for awhile and have used your posts as inspiration for decoration in my own home! But I noticed a big change that I’m surprised didn’t get a post! What happened to the blue couch and school house chairs??
HI!
Gorgeous as usual, blush really suits you! Those Madewell jeans really look good on you too!
I wonder, would you be so kind to share what size do you wear them on? it would be helpful for ordering the right size, considering your opinion if they stretch or not or if they run bigger? Thank you! I love you style! CC x
Do you know the French brand “des petits hauts” ? I always think about your style when I go there.

This post is me….exactly. I just turned 30 and started becoming more comfortable with my feminine side as part of who I am as well. I realized that I can be that woman with the mind who’s dressed in blush. ????@ Christina I love everything you write, seriously. Also will definitely be checking these sweaters out!!
i love your style! my everyday style isn’t particularly feminine, but pink has always been my favorite color, so i’m loving the blush trend!
