Every few months we get the itch to drive up north to Flagstaff, AZ. We love waking up while it’s still dark, taking our coffee and tea to go, and making playlists for our two hour drive up from Phoenix. Everything about the drive gets us excited; the views, feeling the temperature drop, and the fun conversations we always seem to have. When we arrive, we always take a minute to just breathe the air and enjoy the brisk breeze. This was our first autumn trip up to Flagstaff, so we just stood in awe and got all giddy by the colorful leaves all over the streets. There was a fall festival going on, so we really were able to soak in all the fall spirit! We walked around downtown for hours, grabbed a bite to eat, and met a sweet older couple, who recommended some great spots for future hikes! On our way back home, we couldn’t help but stop at this beautiful wooded area we spotted from the road. We pulled over, and spent an hour or two exploring the beauty around us. We sometimes feel like we’re gypping ourselves, as we have taken quite a few trips up north since living here and there are so many other places to see, but we can’t help it! Flagstaff, we love you.

I love how green Flagstaff is. I was there a year or so ago in the winter and that was also beautiful. Where do you get your knee high socks at?
