It’s hot here, you all! We’re in full on summer mode here in the desert and strappy sandals and sundresses are all I’m reaching for these days. I’ve rediscovered my love for an older pair of flat strappy sandals, loose flowy sundresses, and basket bags.

If you’re starting to think of a summer wardrobe, or just want some pieces you can mix and match, here are a few pieces that can get you started on some easy breezy summer outfits. All these pieces are pretty neutral so you can mix and match and wear with some staples like basic tanks, cut off denim, linen pants, etc. aka pieces you might already have in your closet. If not, take a look below – these are all classics that can lend themselves to feminine and retro styles as well, which I like to think my style leans towards, with a bit of “earthy” thrown in there. 😉

Here’s another outfit, I’ve been wearing on repeat. Same formula: flowy dress (here’s a super similar version at a much nicer price point), same strappy sandals, and another basket bag. 

I received a lot of requests on IG about these sandals. They’re older from Madewell, but it looks like their sister-store J.Crew release an extremely similar pair this season. Below, I rounded up some strappy sandals I’m loving.
