We’ve been fortunate enough to have some breezy days lately, which has been making the already too warm days much more bearable. It also has been enticing enough for me to jump out of bed a little earlier than usual (Rob is the early bird in our household) to grab a bite to eat out and tick those boxes off my to do a list a lot earlier than in the past. It’s been feeling pretty good to get out early, especially with having to pack up our entire house for the upcoming projects and prep for our Europe trip. Saturday, we did just that…after packing up a few more boxes (cook books, winter clothes, etc), we headed out early to visit our friend Allison’s new shop location for Teaspressa.
I can’t tell you how funny it felt to feel the sun on my (very pale) legs. Ha! It was the first time I wore a romper and sandals in what felt like forever (I usually stray away from shorter outfits) and it set such a happy tone for the day. Rob was feeling the sandal weather too, so we both reached for our Teva sandals and headed out the door. I went with the Midform Universal Geometric, which was a nice compliment to this pink floral piece and Rob chose the Original Universal Sandal. They were perfect for a day running around town and I love how they still look cute with casual outfits, and we don’t have to compromise on comfort.

The new Teaspressa location was adorable, with plants everywhere and the tastiest pastries and tea. We grabbed a green tea cold brew and their signature London Fog drink, which gave us the pep in our step that we needed. We’re looking forward to enjoying more days in the sunshine like this one. Typically in Arizona, we avoid the sun in the summertime because its just that hot and dry, but we forgot how positive it makes us feel…windows down, music up type of feeling. We’ve been thinking a beach getaway might be in order while the renovation goes on at home. We haven’t done one of those since our honeymoon. Not sure yet, but its fun to daydream about it right? 😉
