90% of the time when we have free time, we’re looking at interiors. We absolutely love the design aspect and incorporating new and fun pieces into a home. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t tempted to pop in and see what people have done with a place when spotting an “Open House” sign, while driving around on the weekends. We haven’t done it since moving, but we get a good laugh out of the idea of it. 😉
A company we have recently fell in love with is Schoolhouse Electric and when it came time to choose new light fixtures for our home, the choice was easy. Their styles have an electric vibe with a nod to vintage, creating a timeless look, but they’re more than just light fixtures. We have found ourselves filling our shelves with their beautiful glassware and planters, and collecting some fun art pieces and prints as well. Today we are so excited to be featured on their blog and share a little peek into our home. You can see the full feature and Q&A here: Schoolhouse Living.
Be sure to check out more of their inspiring spaces as well and a few of our favorites below:

Their lighting is swoon-worthy! I’m tempted to redo all of my lighting every time I visit their site.
Schoolhouse is the greatest! We have gotten the chance to collaborate with them a few times & they are just all so nice. Did you get to tour the warehouse when you visited!? Cory & I could spend every weekend there looking at all the new goodies & planning the design for our future 10 homes…
Love your dining room! Where can I find those floating shelves in the corner?
Thank you Caroline. They’re actually IKEA countertops cut down to size. 🙂
That Vega chandelier is awesome! Is yours 23″ or 29″ in length?
Thanks Ashley! It’s one of our favorite pieces. We went with 29″ 🙂
Not sure if this is a strange question but! Where is your white rubbish bin from? Cheers!
I’m also wondering where the white trash can is from : D
