Bonjour! We arrived in Paris two days ago and couldn’t be more excited to be here. Our flight arrived early Thursday morning and we completely embraced the light rain that welcomed us in. It was cloudy and cozy and pretty perfect. On our way to our Airbnb we watched through our cab’s window, as we peeked in on the city’s morning commute…watching children walk to school clutching to their parents’ side and business men and women rush to the subway with a coffee in hand and headphones in. Even in our sleep deprived state, we immediately felt lucky to be here and experience their culture for a few days.
We told ourselves we’d go back to the Airbnb, freshen up, and recharge for an hour or so, but we ended up sleeping in a bit later than we would have liked. Guess that jet lag really hit us. It ended up working out perfectly though, because we were able to take a stroll midday and grab coffee and a pastry at Craft Café, before meeting some fellow Arizonans for dinner. Craft Café by the way, was a great place to slowly get into the swing of things, grab a cappuccino and homemade cookie, and chat for a bit. The barista was also super sweet!
We ended off the night at Chez Francis, which was a last minute decision but tasty recommendation from Instagram. Thank you so much for all your comments and great places! We loved reading about everyone’s must see spots and we can’t wait to check out more of them this week. We really appreciate them. 🙂
Aritzia jumpsuit and blouse | Sézane shoes and bag | Cluse watch | tarte lipstick in “Pink Peony”
So glad I packed this jumpsuit and blouse from Aritzia! I picked it up while we were in New York and although the combo felt like a bolder choice for me at the time, I feel they’re going to be really versatile pieces in my closet. Looking forward to pairing the jumpsuit with a turtleneck while it’s still chilly out and then wearing it on its own come summertime.
We’re planning on having a picnic by the Eiffel Tower today and cannot wait! We’ll share more soon. Until then, we hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
