Every year around this time we find ourselves missing the east coast a bit. Fall has always been our favorite time of year…the nights are longer, the air smells fresh and crisp, plus we get to bust out all of our favorite fall threads…in moderation that is. The season here is much milder, so we get to milk layers and bare legs a little longer than the rest of the country during these months. To get ready for the season ahead, we partnered with Clark’s to style some fall boots for him and her a few different ways. We always love the versatility of their styles, wearing them all over town. Our first stop? The pumpkin patch.
We spent one evening recently at Schnept Farms. It’s about an hour or so away from our apartment in Phoenix, but so worth it with a huge pumpkin patch, corn maze, and rides. Let’s not forget the corn succotash and pumpkin pie that we couldn’t leave without. We’re thinking we need to recreate those recipes at home. 😉 We ended off the night strolling through the farm while a live band played in the background. People sang along and little shadows of kids running through the fields under the twinkly lights peeked through every corner. These sort of festivities always stir up a special childhood nostalgia for us. We find ourselves reminiscing about past Halloween costumes, our “best pumpkin carving”, and the leaves crunching under our feet in NY. It’s one of our favorite fall traditions and even though the weather this season hasn’t slightly resembled our falls back east, we enjoy the cool evenings and all the fall fashion that comes along with it.

Classic denim, light layers, and boots: this look is one we always gravitate toward this time of year. It’s simple and easy for those busy days, no matter where you may end up. Something we love about Clark’s boots is that they have a ruggedness to them while still looking polished. The Othea Ruby style is perfect for mixing and matching with dresses or jeans (with a very comfortable heal), and the Sawtel Hi remind us of a winter boat shoe turned boot.

Clarks are the very best, man. I love your last outfit with the grey button down. Super duper casual/ snazzy.
So if you ever get an invitation where the dress code is described as “casual snazzy”, then you’ll know what to wear. 😉
Oh the styling of this whole post is to die for. You guys totally inspire me to be a less lazy version of myself when it come to getting dressed, you’ve also had my husband considering these boots. I didn’t even know Clarks had hopped across the pond.
