Lately we have been trying to get back to basics. Keep things simple. It’s amazing what you can accumulate, even after you have sifted through everything and only brought your “favorite” things across the country with you. We spent the last few days taking it easy at home and straightening things up a bit, decluttering if you will. A clean and organized space always makes us feel better. We’ve been feeling the same way with our everyday looks as well. Simple, classic pieces have been our go to, lately. And who can resist a wide-brim hat like this?

I make it a point not to wear color at all. I just feel more “me” in a neutral palette… not to mention, everything in your closet matches!
oh my goodness. so absolutely true! that refining process has to be happening constantly…or…things get out of hand. i think my biggest personal challenge in this arena is coming to terms with the things that linger long after your style has definitively changed. there are so many things i cling to — that i’m not even particularly fond of! — because, well, i spent money on them. or i really liked them at one point in time. oy! with you sister.
p.s. that top is the stuff of dreams!
xo.
I love Lack of Color! I just discovered Lack of Color and that hat you have is the one I want! I’m convinced that I need to buy it soon!
LOVE that hat. xo
