February was a crazy month! We traveled quite a bit, had family visit us here in Phoenix and have spent this past week getting “back to normal”. Though we stay pretty active on Instagram and Snapchat, some photos just never make it here to the blog. We decided to formally share some of our favorite, recent snaps on here now. Hope March has been treating everyone well so far!

Hair cut time with our favorite, Priscilla, over at the new Palabra. Every time we step foot in there, we can’t help but swoon over the minimal, bright space.
There’s not a week that goes by that we don’t stop in to our friend Teresa’s shop, Camelback Flowershop. Everything is so dreamy and beautifully curated, plus she’s a ball to chat with. We always leave with a few goodies…indigo throws anyone?! <3
Scooped up some plants for a project we’ve been working on. Can’t wait to finally share it on the blog this week!

When we’re home, one of our favorite things to do is cozy up with a warm drink and dive into some inspiring books. We often find ourselves reaching for interior design books; we have literally spent hours flipping through page after page, getting some new ideas for our own space. We recently bought Handcrafted Modern. It has some beautiful, warm photographs of mid-century homes.

Love the shot above my sister caught of us! Haha! We spent the afternoon showing them around town, hitting up all of our favorite places — which mostly involved food (pizza above from Pane Bianco), but hey can you blame us? Phoenix has some pretty amazing restaurants. Then we headed over to Melrose to show them some of our favorite vintage and thrift stores.

While we had family in town, we headed up to Sedona for a little hike at one of our favorite trails, Oak Creek Canyon. We’ve hiked there before with friends, and it has become the spot we always go to when people are in town, or we want a change in scenery. We were all pleasantly surprised to see snow on the ground, especially our family visiting from Florida. We had a fun day navigating our way through the snow, crossing over streams, falling in streams, and laughing over soups and sandwiches.
Today we’ll be doing some chores around the house and tidying up before dinner with family visiting from out of town. (Guess those east coasters are really loving the desert lately, haha 😉 ) We’re looking forward to the week ahead, getting some projects done, and having a few double dates with friends before we head out of town again on Sunday. We’re coming for you, Austin! More on that later. 🙂

Seriously amazing space! Your kitchen is gorgeous! (and the green plants…LOVE!) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Anna! Plants always add so much to a space. 🙂 Thanks for following along! xo
Looks like quite a good time! We’ve recently been snatching up plants too, hoping to cultivate a little garden even if it’s only on a apartment balcony! 🙂

Thanks Lauren. We’re in an apartment too, and a bit of greenery definitely helps! Good luck with your balcony garden. 🙂
Oh my goodness! This is going to sound silly but, I am in love with your t-shirts (the plain white t where you’re sitting and the black one). Where are they from <3
I love frances! My boyfriend is from Phoenix, and I always make a point to stop there when we’re in town. Such a cute shop! <3
Hi! I’m wondering what exactly those black mules you’re wearing are, they’re perfect! I love that they are straight across and not sloped to the heel like many others I find. xx E
They’re from Madewell, a while back. I think they have a newer version this season though. If not, check out Nisolo too! They have great mule options. 🙂
