The last stop on our trip with Princess Cruises was in St. Maarten. We’d been looking forward to this stop, the whole cruise. When we told our friends and family that we were going to be visiting the Caribbean, St. Maarten seemed to be everyone’s favorite, so we were eager to check it out. We had signed up for a tour around the French and Dutch sides of the country, so we were off the ship pretty early that morning and greeted by our tour guide named Hysterical — and yes, she definitely lived up to her name. 😉
We were completely taken with the views, crystal clear water, and breezy weather of the Dutch side of St. Maarten. Hats were a life saver during this trip. 😉 While on the French side we explored some local shops and wandered around the rainbow colored streets. We loved how quaint everything felt and the pops of color were so cheerful! We ended off our exploring with a famous guavaberry smoothie and headed back to the ship for a little relaxing on deck.
Stay tuned for one more post from our trip, sharing our favorite moments on the ship!
Check out our stops in the Bahamas & St. Thomas, too!
