A pumpkin patch date!

We had such a great time on our road trip, but it definitely feels good to be home and soaking in all the fall festivities. There’s no denying it, fall has always been a special time for us.  We met eleven years ago (can’t believe it’s been that long!) in the month of October, and every year around this time we can’t help but feel a little nostalgic, look back on some memories together, and continue some fall traditions.

There’s nothing that screams fall more to us than a day at the pumpkin farm. It’s actually starting to cool down here in Phoenix, so yesterday we took full advantage…stepped in to our favorite new Clarks boots from Zappos, threw on some plaid and denim (of course) and enjoyed a hay ride (or two) together at MacDonald’s Ranch.

Fall dressing has always been our favorite…the layering, textures and patterns. Plus, it’s officially boot weather! We’ve been loving Clarks’ new autumn line.  Rob has always been a huge fan of Clarks’ boots, but I finally ordered my first pair (yes to free shipping!) and now I see what all the hype is about. They’re the perfect mix of cute and comfy, and were great for stomping around in the pumpkin patch all day, which is exactly what we did.

We had such a fun day together, picking out the perfect pumpkin.  Next up on October’s fall traditions list: scary movies and pumpkin carving here we come. 😉
