It’s Oliver’s first Halloween and we have so many costume ideas for him. Rob and I have been dreaming about his first visit to Disneyland, so it was only natural we scooped up some favorites from Disney to deck him out in for Halloween. They have so many fun costumes, plus festive pajama and onesie options if you’re little one is still too young to go trick or treating, but really are they ever too young? 😉
Right now you could save up to 40% Off Costumes and Accessories at shopDisney.com now through 10/31! Here are some of our favorites Halloween ideas, plus some fun accessories to get your house spooky too.
Mickey Mouse Halloween Romper
Okay, I loved how simple this was in a no fuss costume type of way but still so adorable! I felt like it was a fun halloween take on the classic Mickey look, plus made us think back to our couple’s skeleton halloween costumes a few years back. Disney also has Minnie and Mickey Halloween themed plush toys that we know Oliver is going to love cuddling with.
Woody Baby Costume
Who doesn’t love a cowboy? This photo cracks me up…that smile! When we showed Oliver the Bullseye toy, he went wild! He has no idea about the movie just yet, but the way he lit up when we put this hat on him and showed him Woody’s pal made us even more excited for our first trip to Disney.
I can’t wait to show him these photos one day. He looks like such a big boy with this little collared cowboy outfit on. I can’t take it. 😉 If you and your family want to complete the look, check out the Buzzlightyear and Jessie costumes too.
Skeleton Candy Halloween PJs
We’re thinking we might just lay low for Halloween with some friends and make it a movie night, so these striped PJs will be perfect for some cuddling. I couldn’t resist the fun Mickey shaped candy bowl either. It glows in the dark, so it will add something a little extra when handing out treats to the neighborhood trick or treaters. It will take everything I have not to be that mom handing out pretzels or some other healthier option. Ha! They make the pajamas for adults too, and I wish I saw them before I placed the order for Ollie’s pjs. They’d be so cute to all match.
Jack Skellington Onesie
This will be Oliver’s first “My First…” onesie. I know they’re super popular for the holidays, and this Jack Skellington one is adorable. Rob and I used watch The Nightmare Before Christmas all the time when we were dating, so I thought it was a fun addition to Oliver’s Halloween haul. I didn’t go big on Halloween decor indoors, but themed accents like the Jack Skellington mug, are fun to bust out this time of year. They also have a Jack Skellington baby costume and one for adults too!

Love this blog post!!! I’ve always been a Disney fan. I remember taking our kids to Disney every year; and seeing the joy through their eyes. Oliver looks so adorable in all these pics that is hard to pick one. Disney always seems to bring out the kid in all of us. Love all your blog posts!
