It’s been a long time since we’ve just hung around the apartment on the weekend. Lately we have been running from one thing to the next and while we take pride in staying organized and focused on future projects, we’re learning it’s important to remind ourselves to slow down a bit. We’re constantly jotting things down in our planner and making to-do lists. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with day to day activities, especially with the holidays right around the corner. This weekend we tried to completely unwind. We checked out from the outside world and social media and just tried to take it easy. We slept in, ate cake for breakfast, and stayed in our pajamas `till noon! We cozied up under warm blankets and danced to our favorite records. We had originally planned to take a little weekend trip out west, but sometimes it’s nice to just to hunker down at home and recharge for the week ahead!
