Fall + Winter Trips in Northern Arizona
We recently took a drive up north to spend a few days in Flagstaff. We were looking forward to the fall weather, colorful leaves, and crisp air. We were pleasantly surprised with waking up to a snow filled yard at our Airbnb and a very happy toddler.
Where to Stay in Northern Arizona: Flagstaff
If you’ve been following along with us for a while, you probably already know that we’ve been staying at the same airbnb since 2015. It’s such a special little space in downtown and it’s been nice having a spot for our family to visit each season. Ollie has already become so familiar with the space and I hope we can bring some of our extended family soon.
Toddler Hunter Boots | Oliver’s puffer/teddy coat is from last year, but I linked to a few similar ones below….
My floral dress is an older Christy Dawn style that I have gotten so much wear out of. Linked to some current similar ones below, along with more lace up style boots, so you can get the look.
Snow in Flagstaff, Arizona
Our friends Tim + Merrill met us in Flagstaff from San Diego, with their son Leo and we all had a blast just being outside together, eating pizza, and running around with the kiddos. There’s something really special about seeing your child grow close to your friends and their child(ren), especially with our family being across the country. I have such fond memories of growing up with my parents friends and their kids, and I hope we can create the same circle of love for our little guy.
Matching Teddy Coats for Mom + Kids
More photos + some fluffy teddy coat recommendations for you and your little one below. 🙂 My jacket is older from a few years ago, but I got so many questions about it on instagram that I wanted to share some newer ones that are currently available.
I can’t wrap up this post without sharing a few links for Rob’s coat as well. It’s such a good one. Definitely not the best choice for snow but for fall and early winter, it’s one Rob grabs for often. I bought it a year or two ago for him for Christmas from Octobre-Editions and I’m so glad he chooses to wear it again and again. He’s not a fan of longer coats in the winter, so having a warm weather coat that hits at the waist with a slight moto and vintage edge to it, is a style he gravitates towards. I rounded up some similar ones below.
Gosh Flagstaff looks so cool! I drove pass twice now and never bother to stop but this might just change my mind! Thank you for the photoshoot location inspo! If you ever want to do couples photoshoot in PHX let me know!
Looks so cool! Love these winter coats for the whole family. I want to buy them for me and my family.
Love this! Hoping for a snow day soon!
