We have a few big things on our to-do list today, starting with our oven hopefully getting fixed, so we’ll be able to cook for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as planned. The internal thermometer went out, so the oven has been heating up super fast and burning all our food. Super fun stuff ya know? The timer for our exterior holiday lights on the house was even on the fritz the other day, but ’tis the season. 😉 It seems as though there are always last minute things to tend to this time of year. I have so many memories of going last-minute shopping with my dad the day before Christmas Eve. It was always super chaotic, but fun at the same time. The mall was always packed, decked out with all the holiday decor and I loved it. Having worked retail, now I feel awful for the store employees, but as a kid it was all so exciting and the rush seemed to just add to the whole holiday experience.

The other day we finished up the last of our wrapping, stuffing the stockings and placing everything under the tree, but if you still need a few gift ideas, or are just planning out what you’re going to spend those gift cards on, there’s still a ton of sales floating around the web.
