Not gonna lie, on the weekends we’re pretty bad about getting up and at ’em. We often run around like a couple of chickens with our heads cut off during the week, so our weekends are our time to enjoy our house, cook together, and relax. However, one thing we noticed that helps get our day started is getting up and getting dressed right away. This usually motivates us to get the day started, whether it be running to the grocery store or just feeling ready if we decide to catch a movie or join friends for lunch.
Keeping things casual and comfortable on the weekends is our motto, but you can still look and feel pulled together with a few simple pieces. Surprisingly we wear denim A LOT ever since moving to Phoenix, even in the summer. You think the heat would keep us away from the classic blues, but we are the most comfortable in a good pair of jeans and button down. It’s become a weekend uniform of sorts and with the right accessories we feel ready for wherever the day may take us.
