March and April are those sweet spots in the year where Arizona is just perfect. You can wake up with the sun peaking through your curtains, keep your windows wide open, and catch a cool breeze. We’ve been trying to get out as much as we can before things heat up over here. Whether it’s for a bike ride around town or just a stroll around central Phoenix as the sun is going down, we really enjoy these simple spring days. We love a fancy date night here and there, but pretty often we find ourselves having the most fun when we just keep it casual. We started dating when we were very young. Back then our days together consisted of hanging out and snapping silly photos at local parks, window shopping at stores in town, and going for many walks together. This was a great way for us to get to know more about each other, laugh, and unwind after a crazy day at work and school. Well 12 years later (yes, we’ve been together that long– crazy!!), we still find ourselves going on those same walks, asking each other random questions, and sharing funny memories. We look forward to these moments each weekend and it’s a much needed refresher before Monday rolls around.
Weekend strolls together call for some casual outfits…loose fitting tops and some comfy shoes have been my go-to lately. I’ve been loving ModCloth’s spring selections and all the new styles they’ve been incorporating. I remember when I found their website years ago…I was super into 50s/60s dresses and vintage inspired pieces. As years have passed, my style has changed a bit, so it’s fun to see the different brands they now carry and all the variation in styles. I’ve been wearing this structured saddle bag quite often lately. It has such a classic shape and can hold a lot, which is always a plus!

Thanks Laura! I’ve been wearing it a lot lately. 🙂
I absolutely love Modcloth! They seem to have a little bit of everything. Those shoes are so cute, I need some loafers for spring! But unfortunately it is still snowing in Chicago =( Love that striped top too!

Thanks Christina. The loafers are so comfortable. Can’t believe there’s still snow in Chicago — its already in the 80s here in AZ. Crazy! Haha

Beautiful flowers! I love the colors. I also love your bag and the cute scarves you’ve been wearing lately.
Thanks so much Jessica. I’ve been loving all the little scarves lately too — easiest way to jazz up an outfit. Haha. 🙂
What lip color is that? Love. Thanks
Thanks! It’s Estee Lauder lipstick in “Pink Dragon” with a pink Sephora brand liner. 🙂
