We both come from families who love to cook. With Cuban and Sicilian heritage, a lot of our family gatherings revolve around food. Since being married, we have both taken recipes that have been passed down to us and incorporated them into our weekly dinner routines. Every now and then, it’s fun to mix things up and try something new from a cookbook. For us, dinner is always a special time where we can “unplug” from social media, television, and stressors of the day. With daily schedules that change often, it’s not always easy to find the time to cook a healthy meal, but it’s definitely something we try to make a priority. Here are some of our favorite cookbooks that can be found on our shelves and in our cupboards.
