Since moving to Phoenix last summer, Roosevelt Row has quickly become one of our favorite places. We can’t rave enough about the art, restaurants, and wonderful people we have met in that area. There’s a great spot with little old homes turned into independently owned shops. Book stores, with the most unique selection, clothing stores, featuring local craft makers, and an amazing little ice cream shop called, Melt. The other night we headed out to enjoy the atmosphere of this perfect little area and grab a few scoops of our favorite ice cream. (Birthday cake and Cookies-n-cream!)
When we lived in New York, we would always make time for these evening walks. It’s always been a great way to unwind and talk about our day together. It’s nice to be able to continue this tradition here in Arizona, in a new favorite spot. It’s always special taking an evening walk together and indulging in a sweet treat after a busy week.

My hubby and I just tried melt at our first outing to first friday’s this month and we loved it !
I just wish it wasn’t so hot that night so we could have enjoyed it more!
