Little by little we've been settling in to our new place. It's ironic we snapped a few photos in our bedroom, because this is the room we've done the least amount of work to and decorating in. However, it is nice to have a fresh and minimal space to retreat to at night.
We both come from families who love to cook. With Cuban and Sicilian heritage, a lot of our family gatherings revolve around food. Since being married, we have both taken recipes that have been passed down to us and incorporated them into our weekly dinner routines. Every now and then, it’s fun to mix things up and try something new from a cookbook. For us, dinner is always a special time where we can “unplug” from social media, television, and stressors of the day.
