Stackable Washer & Dryer in Master Closet

When working on the house, one of the biggest things we were excited about was this master closet build out, particularly moving the laundry into the closet for easy access, fast folding, and to save space. We were super excited to partner with Home Depot to create a functional and compact laundry space in our master closet.

Here’s a glance at where our laundry set up was before. (This photo is the from the property listing.) Since then, this has been knocked down and the extra square footage was added to our dining space.

Today on the Home Depot blog we’re taking you behind the scenes and sharing how we transformed the space with LG’s High Efficiency Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer. They’re both large capacity units that were easy to stack with the LG Stacking Kit.

  1. Just curious, how come you guys didn’t opt for a combo washer & dryer machine? That way you can wash two loads at once?

Ps. And where did you get your cute laundry basket 🧺 from?

    Thank you! 😊

    1. At first we were going to do one washer/dryer combo, but I had trouble finding one with good reviews, plus because most of them are European brands, if you needed parts or for it to be fixed it seemed like it would be a bit more difficult. Anyway, we’re a small family so one washer and dryer were good for us. 🙂 Our laundry basket is from The Container Store.

    2. That’s the Laguna Cotton Belly Basket. Full disclosure – I work at the Container Store in another state :), but follow Rob & Christina’s blog.
