Potluck Fancy Hotcakes Pancakes in Glasgow - Cute Shops in Glasgow

One of our stops on our British Isles cruise was Glasgow! We only had a few hours to explore but that didn’t stop us from scoping out the cutest shops in the city. First stop on our list was to a small brunch place, called Potluck, where we indulged in the prettiest and tastiest hotcakes we ever had. Take a look at those beauties! Edible flowers, cookie crumbles, fresh fruit and pashmak (basically stringy cotton candy) atop the fluffiest hotcakes. Surprisingly, they weren’t too sweet and we ate every bite!

This cruise was a particularly special one because the stops were a few places that don’t really get enough love, in our opinion…Guernsey, Cork, Belfast, and Glasgow being a few of them. We were so excited to have the opportunity to visit our friend Kate and her husband Jordan at their adorable coffee shop, Market Coffee, while we were in Glasgow. We met Kate a while back in London on a work trip and have kept in touch since then. It was so fun getting to see her city and spend the afternoon together.

Market Coffee has to be one of the cutest shops around, and Jordan is the barista there as well, so we enjoyed a few cups while catching up. All the pink accents and plants made us feel right at home.

Before heading back to the ship we walked around some of the touristy spots and I snapped a few photos of Rob. I loved his outfit that day, so I felt like it needed to be documented. Check out that suede jacket. 😉

I did a little shopping on ASOS before we left, and found these tapered pants that I’m obsessed with and lightweight shirt…they’re the perfect neutral pieces to mix and match with going into fall. I ordered this pair of loafers before we left, but they didn’t arrive in time, so I paired it with these flats that were super comfy for walking around all day.
