We’ll be traveling through the British Isles this week and while we were getting ready for the trip I couldn’t figure out what to pack. My whole perception of cold weather has changed so much since moving to Arizona, so when I saw 50s-70s on the forecast the thought of packing for a two week trip seemed a little mind boggling. ShopStyle is one of our favorite shopping platforms that we’re always using, and made packing and searching for the right pieces a lot easier.

For this trip, layering pieces like light jackets and transitional pieces like tees and thinner sweaters were at the top of my list. Searching on ShopStyle for things like “petite trench coat” or “striped tee” is a lot easier than searching across several websites, and I’m always pleasantly surprised with the new retailers the platform puts on my radar – they have all of my favorite brands and stores, plus they are always adding new ones too.

I always search lowest price (who doesn’t love a good deal?) first and select my size and color for better search results. Being able to see options from so many different brands is my favorite and saves so much time, so it’s a win win. And of course, you can save some favorite items for later (and they’ll even send you alerts when items you favorite go on sale!).

Excited to share some pieces we picked up for the trip as we photograph our way through Paris, London, Scotland and Ireland. For now, here’s a look at some classic transition pieces to take you from the heat to fall weather. Throw a denim jacket over this striped tee or a sweater over this chambray and you’re good to go!

Have you guys started any fall shopping yet? Any pieces on your radar?
