There’s no denying that we love to travel. Every three weeks or so we pack our bags, head to the airport, and visit a different city. Whether we are visiting our families on the east coast, partnering on projects that take us to new cities, or just escaping the Arizona heat, it’s something that we do quite a bit. When we’re home, we melt back into our routine and are almost like bears getting ready for hibernation: warm meals, movies and cozy weekends in…especially this time of year. We just celebrated the one year anniversary of living in this house (still can’t believe we are homeowners — woohoo!) and we’re excited for the good times to just keep on rollin’!
We recently partnered with Z Supply and have been obsessed with their comfy, stylish, laid back essentials. These soft tops have been ours (and Henry’s — this pup in sweaters has to be one of all our all-time favorite things!) go-to fabrics for weekend lounging on the sofa. Back when we were living in New York we always would designate Sunday as our “free day”…see our friends on Friday and Saturday and then just take Sunday to stay in comfy clothes, catch up on shows, and relax. We’d gather with family for dinner, but it always was super laid back and we loved it. It felt very restorative and healing after a busy week. The more we talk with friends, and the more we enter into new stages of our lives, we all seem to be on the same page with this.
So let’s celebrate it! Our go-to’s for lazy weekends at home are definitely Billie Holiday records, Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes, and our favorite magazines (Porter, GQ, Vogue, etc.) on repeat.
