London: Day 2

Sep 07, 2017 | By New Darlings

Our second day in London was definitely not as jam-packed as our first. We surrendered to the fact that we wouldn’t be seeing everything on our list and decided to take the day a bit slower. We kicked things off with a very fulfilling breakfast at Caravan, which was recommended by our dear friend Chris. He spent most of the summer in London and supplied us with a hefty list before we left town.  It definitely came in handy!  Also high on his list, was the Columbia Road Flower Market.  Since we were in town on a Sunday, we made sure to make our way over and check it out.  We instantly felt jealous of the locals who get to experience this weekly.  The vendors shouting out their deals over the chatty, very packed crowd was a definite highlight of our trip.  The flowers were beautiful.  We even spotted a ton of cacti.  Well done, London!  This was awesome.  Our afternoon was spent wandering the streets of Shoreditch, checking out the shops, the art, and just thoroughly enjoying being out and about.  After some shopping, and some coffee, we finished off the night at Sketch, which definitely lives up to all the hype.  It was a pretty perfect London day if you ask us!
