LiketoKnow.it App Launch

Mar 06, 2017 | By New Darlings

The new LIKEtoKNOW.it app is here! If you’re unfamiliar with LIKEtoKNOW.it, it’s an app that allows you to get ready-to-shop links straight to your inbox via your favorite fashion and home decor photos on Instagram. We have been users of their older platform and you most likely have seen their links in our IG captions. They recently made some changes and launched a brand new app, making everything super simple. So now, when you screenshot an image from Instagram, Snapchat, IG stories, or even Pinterest, you’ll get a push notification with the sources for all outfit and product details from each photo. Pretty cool, right?

Read on for more details about the app and a few photos featuring my new favorite trench.  🙂

Above you can check out step-by-step instructions on how to use the app. We’ve been using the platform quite some time now, as both publishers and shoppers and we’re pretty excited about the changes they made with the launch of this new app. Half of our camera roll is full of inspiration photos for our house remodel, outfit ideas, etc., so the screenshot feature they integrated is pretty great. Any time you see a link like this one: http://liketk.it/2qB0C, in an IG caption, screenshot the image, and you’ll get a notification from the app that the items are ready to view and shop. You will also get an email (if you choose) with the items as well. For full outfit posts we share all the links here, but this is great for images only shared on Instagram. Also, you guys can always check out the LIKEtoKNOW.it section on our navigation bar to browse and/or shop any of our IG photos.

If you guys decide to try it out, let us know what you think! 🙂

No one has worn a trench coat better than Audrey Hepburn in my opinion, and if you caught our last post, it’s pretty clear I’m falling hard for all the classics lately. I recently ordered this navy trench coat from Sézane. It’s super light-weight, making it a perfect transition piece into spring with an airy sweater and a fun pair of heels.

We had a super productive day yesterday: began packing for Paris, got things organized for the contractors at the house, picked out the counter tops for our kitchen (who thought counter tops could be so thrilling?!), did our taxes, and had some fun with Henry at the dog park. Oh, and we made tacos! The tortillas I bought only two days prior went bad, and I didn’t realize it until I was literally turning the stove top off and placing everything on the table…but when life gives you moldy tortillas, you make a taco salad. Am I right? 😉

Happy Monday, guys!
