With a new year, comes a new perspective. Something we both decided we really wanted to be conscious of this year is sharing more of those “in-between” moments here on the blog. We chatted a bit about it as far as our home renovation and projects go, but the same goes for fashion and our everyday outfits. Here’s a look at an outfit I wore yesterday for meetings in the city and then lunch and shopping with friends. It was sooo much colder than I remembered NY winters to be, but a few layers kept me warm while running in and out of cabs.

We were so happy to have grabbed lunch with our old friend Chris. If you’re a fan of Project Runway, you probably know who we’re talking about. He just launched his new line and showed at NYFW. We were so bummed to have missed his show, but lunch together at Eataly and catching up on the last few years (the last time we saw him was at our wedding…where is the time going?!) was a special way to spend the afternoon. It always feels good reconnecting with old friends and being able to pick up right where you left off. 🙂
