As much as we love our weekly dose of that Seattle intellectual, sometimes you just need to lose yourself in a good book. Fall in Arizona means cooler temperatures, which to us means getting out doors and riding our bikes everywhere and anywhere.  We recently started using Audible to listen to some of our favorite books on the go. It gives us a fresh space to edit photos, fuel up with endless caffeine, and keep work separate from home. We’ve been loving the morning bike ride to our favorite local shop and have found ourselves tuning in to our Audible libraries on the ride over. Audible has different channels featuring everything from audiobooks to meditation and standup. We’ve been loving Before the Fall and Commonwealth. We’re pretty new to the audiobook game, but are quickly growing our library and find ourselves staying committed to our very unofficial book club with friends and family. 😉 Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness for Beginners has been a nice little addition to our morning routine as well.

Here are some books currently in our library:

  1. Commonwealth and The Girls are both on hold for me at the library. I can’t wait to sink my teeth in.
I love podcasts but I’d never really listened to audiobooks for some reason. But this year, my husband and I took an 11 hour road trip and listened to Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and it was SO RIVITING!! 😀
Another friend said that Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling is super great on audiobook as well. 😀

    1. I’ve really been enjoying Commonwealth so far and The Girls has been on my list for quite some time now. Can’t wait to hear what you think! We’re gonna look into Ready Player One and Why Not Me. Thanks so much for the suggestions. That’s really true how some books are better than others on audiobook; the narration makes all the difference. 🙂
