Today is our three year wedding anniversary and we are so lucky to be celebrating in the beautiful city of San Francisco. When you have been with someone for almost twelve years, you might think these anniversaries lose their charm, but that could not be any more untrue. We still celebrate our dating anniversary, but our wedding will always be the most important day to us. It was 2013 and we were planning two of the biggest moments in our life at the same time. Our wedding day and our move from New York to Arizona were both making our heads spin quite a bit, but they are definitely the two best decisions we have ever made up to this point in our lives. It’s hard to explain the bond we have formed…we really are best friends. We have ups and downs just like everyone else, but through all the craziness life throws our way, we find a way to get through it all together and laugh in between it all.
So here we are three years later, celebrating all those adventurous and love filled years together in San Francisco. We have been wanting to visit this city for quite some time now and are so glad we are finally here on our anniversary. We can’t wait to share all the fun places we’ve been visiting. We were lucky enough to meet up with our friend Vincent, who was also in town for a few days, playing tour guide, and who was kind enough to shoot some anniversary photos of us.
We headed to the Golden Gate Bridge around sunset the other day and the views were just breathtaking. A long flowy dress and crisp white shirt felt appropriate for the occasion. The Tech Fitted 1MX Shirt from Express has been the perfect go-t0 for dressier occasions. Fitted dress shirts can be hard to find, but these have a bit of stretch which is always a plus when going for a tailored look. It’s great for casual wear with chinos and boat shoes or paired with some black slim fitting jeans and oxfords. This fun, floral dress felt like the perfect compliment to the white and black look and added a pop of color.
We’re looking forward to celebrating tonight over dinner and then seeing the city lit up for our last night here. Here’s to many, many more years of laughter, love, and adventure!
