Last week we spent a few days in NY, with our time split between the city and Long Island.  It was a busy week filled with birthday celebrations, wedding festivities and catching up with friends and family, with a bit of work mixed in.  It was the first time we had been back since last July, so we tried to pack in as much as we could in those few short days.  It definitely felt like a marathon at times, but we had so much fun revisiting some of our favorite old spots, like the park we got engaged in and our go-to coffee shop, meeting up with friends in the East Village for some tasty treats, and strolling through Chelsea.  One thing we definitely underestimated was how drastic the temperature change was.  From AZ to NY, temperatures dropped almost 30 degrees and our bodies definitely weren’t ready for it.  We’re still nursing some colds we picked up along the way.  Wish we had snapped a few more photos, but we really just enjoyed our time catching up on life with those close to us.  Until next time New York!
